There used to be another collection of Ukrainian instruments which was housed in the Museum of Ethnography in Kyiv on Engels street.
It had some unique instruments such as the Kyiv Kharkiv bandura made by Skliar and the Shevchenko bandura by Herasymenko.
From what I have heard the collection is currently boxed up and has recently ungone some bad water damage and been attacked by bugs.
There were attempts to combine the collection with the one at the Lavra but these attampts were not successful.
