Thats a photo of a torban from the Pereyaslav Khmelmytsk museum of Kobzar Art.. The instrument has no strings and the tuning pegs were missing and if I remember correctly reminded me very much of the Mazepa Torban pictured in Khotkevych's book.

OK - but remind me in March. On Jan 31 I am moving to a new house and half of my stuff is packed up in storage. Once I get it all out of storage and then placed in its right place I will be happy to get you a copy.
I always wondered what happened to Mazepa's Torban from Tarnawsky's museum in Chernihiv. It just could be it.
