Hello "Banduraforum".
I'm a new member here. This forum has so much information..., it's wonderful!!!!
I'm a professional musician. Unfortunately, my skills regarding playing the bandura are very limited.
However, my skills and ability on the guitar have kept me touring and working steady for the last 30 years.
My nationality is Ukrainian, and I can speak, read and write Ukrainian.
I have a recording studio in my house and record quite often. I do use my bandura for texture sounds and to enhance piano, guitar, & mandolin lines.
I have a few questions regarding my Bandura.
I believe the time has come to change the strings on it. My instrument has 56 strings on it and is in really good condition. I've attached a picture of it. I would really like to clean my Bandura and change the strings. I would greatly appreciate any advice the members here could provide regarding my Bandura. I also would like to know if I can use acoustic guitar strings of the correct gage on my Bandura. Any advice your members here could provide would help me immensely!
